“Quiet Beach Getaway This clean, quiet stay was so relaxing! We enjoyed waking up to Pacific Ocean views and the cool morning mists in early September. We had all the privacy we wanted. The hosts gave clear instructions on how to get here and all local info we needed. If we ever come to the Northwest again, I'd definitely look for an opening at the Beach Bum Inn.”

“My girlfriend and I took our inaugural overnighter trip to this wonderful rental in early May of 2023, and we felt like we hit the lottery. First of all, you would never know that you've got your kind hosts living above you. I don't think we heard a peep from them for the entire three nights. Secondly, this place is truly a slice of paradise. It is LITERALLY on the beach. You just thread your way through the dunes for 150 feet or so, and you're on the spacious and gorgeous beach. The apartment itself was immaculate upon arrival. The bathroom, the bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen were all spotless. It is clear from the decor that a lot of thought has gone into this place, and they have created a beautiful haven for their guests. Every appliance and utensil imaginable is there for your convenience, and we greatly enjoyed cooking on the gas stove. Just outside your door is a little sitting area with some super-comfy adirondack chairs at the ready, and the cleanest hot tub I have ever witnessed. They've got it set up so that one person can easily remove and replace the cover. We were both delighted to be able to slip into that 100 degree water for two of our three nights. Just what the doctor ordered after our 6+ mile runs each morning on the beach which seems to stretch on forever. And speaking of the beach - WOW!!! Utterly gorgeous! And huge!! It's an extremely gentle slope to the water, and is perfect for running on. The clammers get out in full force at sanctioned times, and you will be in luck if you happen to like to eat them. We've never seen so many before. As one might suspect, the sunset is spectacular here, and there's always some interesting flotsam and jetsam on shore in the morning. I'm rambling now, but that's what happens when you're enamored with something, right? Jim and Patti are awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. I had a great time chatting with Jim for the better part of an hour about the history of the area. He's a gem! That's about it. You will not regret making a reservation here. I have no doubt that Christine and I will return again someday. It was a delightful and perfect weekend, and our lodging played a huge part in our enjoyment. Thanks, you guys!!! S. & C.”

“A wonderful time! My spouse and I had a wonderful time here. We had a set back on our original plans and they accommodated us without any hesitation. Sitting in the hot tub during a chilly windy night and listening to the ocean was a blissful memory we will hold on to for a long time. The space is clean, cozy, comfortable, and just steps away from the beach. Our time spent here was great and a much needed break from our everyday lives. Thank you!”

“For the first time this September 2020 we spent four lovely days at Patti and Jim's Beach Bum Inn. We have enjoyed coming to Moclips, WA every two or three years for many years but we had always stayed elsewhere. We're so pleased that we found this place! It's right on the beach, which is what we wanted, and the cozy little bungalow is delightful with its nautical theme and a fully equipped kitchenette. We will definitely book another stay here.”

“A wonderful place. Everything was homey, clean, and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect. The bed divine, and they had everything you could need or want. Pots, pans, plates, even some spices, and kitchen supplies. unfortunately, not ketchup but the Country Store did. It was a wonderful place and I can't wait to go back. Patti, Jim and Miss Bailey were delightful. I can't say enough about this place. I can't wait to return. The flowers, the view, the comfort, the sound of the waves.........”

“Beautiful Beach Side Accommodations We loved everything about this property. The location and views are absolutely stunning. We loved the additional amenities such as the hot tub, fire pit, and gas stove. Check in was easy, as well as communication with the host. “Darling cottage by the sea! Ocean views from every window and wonderful owners! We will return! We arrived after sunset to a cozy, warm, and inviting cottage filled with everything we needed including special treats for our four legged children. The morning brought stunning ocean views from every window. We spent our time relaxing and appreciating our special time. I wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning soon. Patti and Jim are accommodating and respectful of space. The ocean is right at your feet. We went on a rainy ocean walk and being able to hot tub afterwards was refreshing. It’s covered and being able to sit outside and listen to the PNW rain from the deck with an ocean view is magical. Definitely a place we look forward to coming back to!”
