The wood-lined great room takes full advantage of the view, with a window seat punctuated with pillows that spans the front windows. A large, velvet sofa faces the huge, comforting stone hearth with a wood-burning fireplace alongside a large flat-screen TV/DVD.

The rest of the living room is designed for conversation, with chairs arranged in the center and the walls lined glass cases artfully arranged with the owners’ shell collections. The Trex deck outside overlooks both the north and south spits of the Alsea River, so you can enjoy the view while you sit and watch the sunset or grill a meal on the barbecue. A rustic woodland beach access is three minutes away on foot, or you can reach an easier access by car at the State Park a few blocks away.
