An outdoor ocean-view deck gives you plenty of room to kick back and soak up the sun.
After enjoying the sunset at evening, you can light a fire in the fire-pit on the patio and stay up late watching the stars. Night owls can fly up to the loft and enjoy TV or card games while the rest of the crew retreats to two updated, comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bath. The quiet, wooded neighborhood and your proximity to beach access right off the deck make your ocean stay especially easy and relaxing—you can plan on long, refreshing beach walks whenever you want.
Your South Beach location makes trips to Newport’s many wonderful activities a breeze; you can also travel south to Waldport, Yachats and Florence and the spectacular cliff-top ocean views in between. “I was incredibly disappointed with my stay here. So much that we left a day early. The house was not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere. The dishes provided in the home were all thick with dust and needed washed. The washing machine/dryer were not working. This wouldn’t have been a big issue other than the fact that my reservation was for eight people and we were provided six towels. Considering the house has a hot tub there should have been at least the number of towels that there were people. The hot tub would not keep a temperature so it was useless. The beach access is NOT as advertised. Yes, it’s a short walk to the steps to get you there. However, the stairs end before you hit the beach and you are left trying to crawl or jump down rocks to get to the beach. The dumpster outside was half full when we got to the house. The blankets all needed washed and smelled like wet dog. The master bedroom had black mold in the bathroom. We rented this house for the weekend of my wedding and were actually upset enough to leave an entire day early.”
“Better Than Expected We absolutely loved our stay in Newport!! The pictures for this rental do not do it justice! It is so much better in person! Our kids were oooo-ing and aw-ing as they ran through the house checking everything out. The bedding is luxurious, and so are the bathrooms, especially the master, with heated tile floors. It accommodated the eight of us (ages 10, 11, 13, 15, and adults) just perfectly! They spared no expense with this update! And the beach access was a huge bonus! Just a cluster of houses share the staircase down to the beach, and there was hardly ever anyone down there. My kids virtually had the whole beach to themselves.”
