“Fabulous Vacation Truly a relaxing vacation. The home provided for rest and recreation. The beach trail was an adventure on its own. The beach was pristine, the younger boys learned to boogie board and spent all their days in the water. The hot tub was well enjoyed. There was so much room, plenty of beds, showers, tables and seating to accommodate our large group. The children loved it teenagers and adult children noting that it was our best vacation rental yet. We had a lot of fun! We drove down from Washington and the other half of the family drive up from California and had the best vacation. Very much recommend.”
“The children said it was the best vacation home rental ever - beach trail, hot tub, plenty of room for gathering and spreading out. Also great parking and close to towns and shops. Had the most relaxing vacation in ages. Very much recommend.”
“Amazing location Great place to stay. We had plenty of space. The location was great and surrounded by beautiful forest. The hot tub was hot. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time.”
“Beautiful central Oregon coast home This was a perfect getaway for our family! Loved sitting in the jacuzzi during the chilly evenings (our visit was in March). Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and with three separate seating areas - one on each floor - we had plenty of room. Our family doesn't have any mobility concerns, so this wasn't an issue for us, but it's worth mentioning that the spiral staircases between floors might be difficult for some people to navigate. Also, our party was able to use the property's beach access trail with no problem (it's a short five -minute hike), BUT it is not wheelchair- or stroller-friendly. However, Otter Rock is close to easier beach access (Beverly or Nye beach to the south; Fogarty Creek or Taft to the north). And, if you can manage a somewhat steep descent and return climb, there are great tide pools just to the north of Devil's Punchbowl at low tide.”
“Otter rock Loved the house, property, everything!! Hot tub wasn’t working someone came out on third day to fix it.. we were left without tub for 3 days, so Meriden has offered a small refund which was fine, great to work with and fast response time..... the seclusion and location of this home has made it our yearly rental!!”
“Otter rock house As usual, it was a delight staying here. The house is in great condition. The hot tub stopped working at some point. But fortunately we had someone with us who could fix it in a jif”
“otter rock hideaway This place is very cool lots of stairs! The trail going to the ocean is difficult but worth it. There are a few things that could be addressed but not critical the beds are hard and there was a dish soap 3oz. And when they say bring your own condiments they mean it there is nothing there! But the place is wonderful and well kept and nice back yard for the kids to play in and secluded so your not on top of each other. There is a hi-chair even. Is a great place.”
“otter rock days fantastic time, well stocked house for larger group.Great place, just FYI, the lock to the hot tub needs some greasing, It took a lot of power to turn the key and fear it will break in the lock next time.shower upstairs does not have a lot of pressure so hard to wash hair and get soap out.Thank you and we will be back!oh and I really enjoyed working with Meredith Lodging, very friendly people.”
“Everything was wonderful”
“Serene Oasis The home is a very serene location. It feels like youre in the woods yet the sound of the surf is ever present. The home is very large and spacious. Bedrooms are scattered on three levels so everyone can have privacy. Furnishings are comfortable and tasteful. Downsides are tons of stair steps, make sure youre party is up to that. Many baby gates are necessary if children will be present. The kitchen is a little dated but functional. But thats it, the house is amazing and I would love to stay their again .”
