“Ebb and Flow” is located on Siletz Bay where ocean and river mingle creating a dynamic and diverse, environment. Twice each day, Siletz Bay’s estuary is the stage for a slow, stately drama influenced by the moon, the sun, the wind, and the rain. Flowing channels, branching and winding across the broad sandflats, are filled with incoming ocean waters.

As the bay fills, the rising tide spreads slowly across the Siletz Bay. The ever-deepening waters lift the eelgrass, fill the countless burrows, and creep into tiny channels that penetrate the salt marshes. Finally, the waters surge upstream to the edge of the forest and gently lift trailing branches of rhododendron and cedar.

The Siletz Bay estuary is full. For a moment, the drama pauses. Then as the earth turns, the ocean’s push becomes a pull, and the waters of the Siletz Bay estuary recede.

Before long, logs at the edge of the salt marsh are grounded on the sand, the eelgrass lies limp and flat, and tiny creatures are stranded in isolated pools of water warming in the sun. Red tailed hawks, bald eagles, and other raptors are seen roosting and a variety of estuarine dependent birds including great blue heron, great egret and many species of waterfowl are foraging in the tidally influenced waters. But in a short time, the cycle will begin again….

Ebb and Flow is conveniently located in Lincoln City on the Siletz Bay within easy reach of two golf courses, bay front seafood restaurants such as Mo’s, Pelican Brew Pup, Kyllo’s, and the many restaurants at Salishan’s Coastal Lodge and the Marketplace at Salishan…plus Chinook Winds Casino, Lincoln City’s Factory Stores and Depoe Bay. It's even nicer in person. Fully stocked, wonderful view, plenty of water activities to enjoy. Over all, I couldn't have asked for a nicer spot to enjoy our first family vacation. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

We had the best Spring weather, the kids loved the beach bath and all the driftwood, we felt the kids were so safe at this location without the sneaker waves, house was fabulous with all the king beds...hot tubed every-night:)

The best family vacation ever. Going on any family vacation always has me in a ball of nerves before we leave home. Will everyone get along? Will everyone be bored? What do we cook so that there are zero complaints? Did we pack everything? I was BLOWN away by how amazing our trip was. Ebb and Flow was literally a perfect home for the 11 of us. The kids were able to play on the beach all day. Catching all sorts of interesting creatures and playing in the sand. I love that this home is on the bay. You can hear the ocean in the distance, but there is no concern of the children being washed away with a wave. It allowed for us adults to relax and enjoy the calmness that this home provided. The beach along the bay was a wonderful landscape for a nice 1.75 mile run. The kids loved the air hockey and PingPong table. I loved the kayaks! I haven't kayaked in about 15 years. I was so excited to go again. We left the home feeling amazing. It made going back to reality at home difficult. Thank you for the clean and lovely home. We hope to be back!! "Kayaks and Crab Traps were a Hit" Love the beach and the location, big beds and cool decorations. very peaceful. We caught 5 crabs and kayaked every day.

One word to describe, AMAZING!!! We all had a wonderful time, with hanging out on the beach, riding ATV's, going to the park, hot tubing, riding bikes, ping pong and getting together. We all really enjoyed our stay.

The last 5 days are ones we will never forget! From kayaking out dropping crab pots, clamming, fishing, whale watching, roasting marshmallows, and so much more...our family has an amazing vacation and are not ready to head home. Thank you for sharing this home and it's beautiful views!
