About this home
This is a spacious oceanfront landing spot for large gatherings of family and friends. Its great room, with a cottage-style kitchen, a dining area that includes a breakfast bar and a traditional living room is warmed by a large stone fireplace and the sun streaming in the large windows across the front of the home. That unobstructed view of the Pacific is echoed upstairs in two king bedroom suites with windows large enough that you won't have to get out of bed in the morning to see the ocean!
The kids will be equally delighted with a large bunk room that sleeps 8 and has toys, books and TV for their amusement. Flat screens in the living room and one of the king bedrooms, a DVD player and Wifi will keep you connected. But you might just want to disconnect when you see how close you are to the rocky promontory near the end of Roads End, where hiking and tide-pooling beckon.
Your Roads End location also puts you within an easy drive to the Chinook Wind Casino, shopping, dining and all the delights of Lincoln City, another great reason to book some sea days at DaySea! **Please note - Elderly and ADA guests may find the private beach access can be difficult to maneuver** PROPERTY DETAILS: FIRST FLOOR: MAIN ENTRY Bedroom 1: One Queen Bed Hallway: Full Bathroom, Living Room: Large Flat Screen TV/DVD Kitchen, Dining Room Garage: Ping Pong Table SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom 2: One King Bed, Flat Screen TV, Full Bathroom Bedroom 3: One King Bed, Flat Screen TV, Full Bathroom (Shower Only) Bedroom 4: Two Full on Bottom/Twin on Top Bunk Beds, Two Twin Beds, TV Hallway: Half Bathroom with Washer/Dryer *Each home is individually owned. “We appreciate the attention to detail taken to ensure we were comfortable. Though the price isn't the cheapest, Meredith provides an outstanding value to your family vacation.”
“Great house Great house. Views were incredible. House was clean and quiet. Exactly as it said it was”
“Perfect! I can’t express how much we loved everything! We had bad experience with blue pacific rentals so was very leery to even communicate with management. This rental we will rent again plus we highly recommend Meredith Lodging!”
“Super nice! This is the 2nd time we have rented this home Mon-Fri. in August. The accommodations are perfect for our extended family of 12 - 6 adults and 6 teenagers.”
“Amazing views and Awesome house We had a great vacation at DaySea Cottage. The location, views and the cottage were perfect. We had 5 kids in our party and the kids bedroom area is a super hit. We loved the various art pieces and the notes about the history of this cottage. Super easy access to the beach and we were comfortable going down the stairs even when its dark. Only thing that I would have liked is a fooseball table instead of ping pong. This might be more a personal preference and also to save on the space in the garage in winter time. We will cherish the memories and the pictures from this vacation for a long time.”
“Best Ever Our family retreat was made perfect by DAYSEA rental. The house was just as advertised and, for once, the pictures matched reality. We had plenty of room for the three generations to spread out. The beach access was a hit for all! We will return again.”
“The house was just lovely - very roomy and the kitchen had everything I was looking for to cook a meal - a few spices in the cupboard would have been nice, but no biggie, shopping was close and convenient. The only drawback we had was at the bottom of those lovely stairs heading out to the beach, at the bottom they stopped and you had to climb over large rocks to get onto the sand - a bit tricky if you're not real limber. Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the place to a friend.”
