Welcome to Serendipity in Depoe Bay! This one bedroom, one bath cottage is located on a cliffside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You'll have plenty of room for you, one guest, and your favorite four legged friend, making this rental home perfect for a couple's weekend getaway!
Step inside and get settled in for your stay! The large deck with the front door is a great place to soak up some sun during the warm summer months! The living room and kitchen are all interconnected, making it easy to whip up a quick and easy meal while enjoying your partner's company.
Please note that this unit offers an electric cooktop, no oven, along with two toaster ovens. There is also a mini fridge for you to store any small items in, such as water bottles or milk for cereal. You'll have an amazing picturesque view from this area of the ocean any time of day!
Relax on the couch and watch a movie, or enjoy a nice warm fire. You'll also have Wi-Fi access while staying at Serendipity, so working while on your stay will be easy. Depoe Bay is well known for its abundance of whales, so we're sure you'll see a few while on your vacation.
Make sure to enjoy the hot tub while on your vacation as well! Enjoy a nice soak in the summer months or warm up during the winter! The bedroom is located right off of this main room and contains a queen size bed.
The bathroom contains a stand-in shower. While enjoying your time in Depoe Bay, be sure to check out the surrounding areas as well. Depoe Bay offers whale tours out on the ocean nearly every time of the year.
There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance to explore right off of Highway 101. You can also travel south to Newport or north to Lincoln City if you're looking for more things to explore and see while touring the Oregon coast. The Newport Aquarium is a must see, as are the many glass blowing shops in Lincoln City.

Sleeping Accommodations: Bedroom - Queen Beach access is located at Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area, located right off of Highway 101, about 3 miles north. While you may not be able to reach the beach in Depoe Bay, you can still get great views of the Pacific from both the home and Spouting Horn on Highway 101. EV charging cable is stored in the kitchen cabinets.

“Loved so much about the property and will definitely stay again. Would definitely recommend switching to a low profile box spring for the bed. It was very comfy, but also very high.”

“This is the perfect property for a couples getaway. We stayed here for our 41st Anniversary. Keep in mind that it does not have a oven but it does have a Toaster Oven. The view is incredible and is even incredible from the hot tub. We will definitely be back.”

“FIVE STARS! BEST PRIVATE HOT TUB VIEW ON THE OREGON COAST I highly doubt you will be able to find a place to stay that has a better private hot tub view of the ocean. Dogs are also welcome, which is a plus for us. We will absolutely be coming back.”
“First off, this was our very first time renting a cabin out of state. And I must say, this experience has been absolutely amazing. I spoke to a rep on the phone when reserving the cabin, and she answered all of my questions and concerns. The cabin is much bigger inside that you might think, and very open and clean, with many windows looking out over the ocean. The hot tub was a nice addition. They built a couple walls around the hot tub for more privacy. We also brought our little dog with us, and the owners provided a bed for her! She very much enjoyed herself, starring out at the ocean in the mornings. And there's enough parking for 2 vehicles. Our F-150 fit just fine. So, overall it was a great experience for us. A much needed break away from our lives. We plan on renting this cabin in the future. Thank you again!”
“This was the perfect getaway my mom and I needed for a few days! A wonderfully quaint and clean abode! Had everything we could need there and Depoe Bay has become one of my favorite places on the oregon coast. Felt like the whales, birds, and a little chipmunk we saw each morning became our friends in a sense. The views were just breathtaking... especially sunsets enjoyed in the hot tub! The space and amenities were just right. So hard to leave this peaceful place and return to the realities of non-vacation life. Thanks for such a great place for a bit of relaxing respite!”
“THE PLACE WAS PERFECT FOR A WONDERFUL RELAXING TIME, FOR TWO The place was perfect for a wonderful relaxing time, for two. Great location, you can walk to all the shops in Depoy Bay. The wife and I sat on the deck every night looking out to the sea, and at 4:30pm on two of the nights we saw a whale. Highly recommend this GEM, no one will be disappointed.”
“Amazing views! "We absolutely loved our time at this cozy, ocean-side home. The view is absolutely amazing and we saw 20+ whales from our living room and deck! The location is also wonderful for walking into town to eat (Left Coast Coffee and the Whale Bites breakfast sandwich with candied bacon are highly recommended), shop and book boat tours. We would happily stay here again. "”
