Puffins on Larch

As you walk into the entry hall, the first doorway on your right is the formal living room. An ideal space if you brought work with you or a quiet spot when you need a place to read a book or just want a little peace and quiet. The end of the main hall opens into a large family room, kitchen and dining area that make this house a special place to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

There is a fireplace in the family room that gives the room a cozy feel and a large tv/media center that makes a great movie night spot. The kitchen is completely stocked with anything you need. The counter with bar chairs is a great place to grab something quick to eat or a perfect spot to bring a charcuterie board party to life.

The galley kitchen has everything you need including a gas stove to make meal time fun. Just past the kitchen is the dining area. The six- person table is a great size for a comfortable meal with friends or family.

This is also the best place to get a good view of the backyard before venturing out to see it close up. The large backyard offers a feeling of privacy (you are still in a neighborhood). Picture those outdoor conversations seated around the gas firepit, with the hot tub right there, and we guarantee you will find it hard to leave.

The only thing that could disrupt you here is if the neighborhood elk herd comes by, but they are usually shy and not up for conversations. The three bedrooms are all on the second floor. The stairs are next to the front door on the opposite side from the living room.

The primary bedroom has a four-poster king bed with windows looking out to the back yard, with an attached bath with a shower for this bedroom. The second and third bedrooms have a Jack and Jill attached bath between them and both have queen beds. Les Shirley Park is just a short two block walk away.

From the park you can enjoy a view of Haystack Rock to the south and Ecola Creek which runs out to the ocean. Getting to downtown Cannon Beach is a short walk from there. The north end of Cannon Beach has its own magic and staying at Puffins on Larch is perfect way to enjoy it.
